Spring Trends '12

Spring Trends '12

My personal favorites for this spring season. I really wanna start incorporating these trends into my wardrobe! I love polka dots cuz they make everything look uber cutesy and feminine. Chevron is up my alley because it's just so fracking mod. Cobalt blue, kelly green and tangerine are easy statement colors, and I feel like tribal leggings are an equally as effortless statement piece. Just throw these pieces/colors on and your outfit looks interesting in no time. I dig peter pan collars b/c they're vintage and adorable. Neons and pastels look good on my skin, and I'm ALWAYS looking for colors that compliment me. I dig the peplum cut b/c it's very flirty and flattering for most figures.

Colorblocking Crazy Color Combos

Hell of a blog post title, ae? Anyways, if you know me, you know that there's almost NOTHING I love more than playing with colors and textures. I always played it safe though! Ya know, the navy blue and red, mint green and dark plum, light blue and cobalt blue. . . the uje. But after seeing Style With Shannon's guest post on the modest fashion blog, Clothed Much, I was inspired to revamp my color combinations TOTALLY! Here's my extremely casual take on the teal & red combo.

I used this poor ole bag alllll throughout high school and the poor thing has more than its share of battlescars. One end of the strap has no place to attach to the purse itself, so I safety pinned the two sides of the purse together, hooked the strap on to the safety pin, and tied a piece of white lace around it. And now it looks even cuter than before :)
